In 2017, I was commissioned to design artwork for Region Ten CSB's Wellness Initiative. Region Ten is a local Community Services Board that provides mental health, developmental disability, and substance abuse services to those in need. This project started with the Board wanting painted pictures of "wellness" activities on walls in the main waiting room. After reviewing initial drafts with the Board, the idea of creating a logo of the program's slogan that incorporated the wellness pictures came to fruition.
As seen below, the design as well as the slogan went through a few revisions. The Board wanted to be mindful of the population served and to communicate a message that incorporated not only wellness but inclusion. What made the different aspects of this logo successful involved thorough research and communication with stakeholders. Shortly after a few drafts and updates, the logo was finalized .
After finalizing, the Board decided they wanted the logo to be the brand of the 12th Annual Consumer Advisory Council Conference. Stickers and posters were printed to give out to consumers and hang around the company's buildings where they are still up today. This was one of my first big projects of which I was so grateful to be a part.
